FRIDAY PHOTOS

How is it that having done a bazillion hexagons over the last 13 years, I can't find my 1" paper pieces?  I can't believe it. I re-used the ones I just took out of these hexies, but that's all I could find.
Some of the prints in the new Cotton and Steel are just perfect for hexagons so I guess I will have to buy more papers

This week I made another pair of Quick Change trousers and another hat for a double baby shower. The little boy got the pants and hat

I gifted the quilt that I've had for (quite) a while to the baby girl and the new mamma loved it   : )

It's my turn again to receive blocks for the Heal group. These have arrived so far and I plan on adding to them with some flying geese units. I think this next quilt will be awesome!

Have yourself a lovely week end and thanks so much for all the nice comments on my last post.

Wishing you a great weekend too!

Oh Carla, why do you persist in opening your lovely posts with gorgeous hexies?? It is the undoing of me. BUT...this time I was strong and read on. Just as well as each and every thing is such a pretty sight to behold. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!

The little pants are just too too cute. Lucky boy. Love the blocks you're receiving with all the great colors and prints included.

Gotta love those hexies.

There are some great graph paper generators online that will print out perfect hexes... If you google incomptech and graph paper, it'll be easy to find. Cheaper than buying more. :-) That said, I hope you find them! I got my C+S yesterday and thought that they were perfect for hexes, too - especially those Rashida prints with the hex shaped flowers. I fear some fussy cutting in my future...!

Cute trousers!

The missing hexie papers will turn up within 48 hours of when you buy or make replacements. That's just the way of things!

I love everything you have going on here! Your arrow quilt top in the last post turn out super. I like the addition of the Navajo inspired block.

Wow, Carla, you have been very busy, as usual. I LOVE your Arrow Flimsy, and apparently lots of others do, too, by all the comments. And the blocks for the 100 Modern - fabulous. A girl in our RI Modern Quild Guild just finished her quilt using that book, and it's wonderful! Love the pants for the babes, too. And that barn as a backdrop - beautiful! xo

If you want to pop over we can cut some 1" hexies with the sizzix over a cup of tea! What's a few thousand miles?

You have a great collection of hexies. What are planning to make with them?
The baby clothes are so cute. The little beanie is adorable.

Thanks for your lovely comments on my baby cardigan. It was actually double knitting yarn and 4mm needles so not that fine, x
